Market: On the occasion of the "Paris-Modena" long-distance journey, the traditional French manufacturer Look is presenting a limited special edition of its 695 Aerolight model in the colors of the sports car manufacturer Maserati.
The background is the partnership that Look has entered into with Maserati for the “Paris-Modena” long-distance journey. From July 4th to 9th, this will lead from the French capital across the Alps with passes such as the Col de l'Iseran to the Maserati headquarters in Modena. The ride is aimed at amateur athletes and was brought to life by Maserati boss Guido Giovannelli. The number of participants is limited to 30.
In keeping with the partnership between Look and Maserati, the famous trident of the northern Italian sports car manufacturer is emblazoned on the head tube and seat tube of the 695 Aerolight. "Paris-Modena" lettering can be found on the fork and top tube. The carbon frame is one of Look's top models and is aerodynamically optimized. The cables run entirely within the frame and the front brake is integrated into the fork blades. The "Paris-Modena" edition comes with Shimano Ultegra DI2 equipment and Mavic Cosmic Carbone wheels with Exalith brake track.
The special edition is not a bargain: Look is asking 695 euros for the 7.499 Aerolight “Paris-Modena”. The accompanying five-day long-distance trip is just as exclusive as the bike. 3.750 euros will be charged for this. The price is put into perspective a little by the fact that for every kilometer driven by a participant, one euro is donated to a foundation that supports seriously ill children.
