Market: Just yesterday we reported that BULLS made it to the IAA in Frankfurt with its new connected bike. Today a message flutters into the house that Hercules is also holding up the bicycle flag at the world's largest motor show. The "Intelligent Transporter", as Hercules calls the e-cargo bike, is also the result of a cooperation with the German manufacturer Brose, BMZ and Telekom.
Inside, the intelligent transporter from Hercules resembles the connected bike from Bulls: Here, too, sophisticated sensors ensure a large number of possible diagnostic and analysis functions, even from many kilometers away thanks to the integrated SIM card. The proactive maintenance features are reminiscent of modern cars and remind drivers and owners of maintenance intervals, signs of wear and much more.
The van is primarily aimed at tradespeople in urban areas: it is becoming increasingly difficult for craftsmen, delivery and delivery companies to get to their destination in a small van through the congested streets and finally to find a parking space there. For many, such a cargo bike as that of Hercules could be a real alternative. Thanks to a modular design, the bike can be adapted to a wide range of applications.
The Transporter will be on the market as early as next year, and the model with intelligent features and proactive maintenance will follow in 2017. More information is available on the website set up especially for the bike:

Anyone who would like to see the intelligent transporter in person at the IAA, which runs until September 27, can do so in the test area of the Brose stand in Hall 3.1.
