Product news: Nutcase: Bike helmets for the whole family - 20 new designs for 2016

8 October 2015 by Marcus Degen

Nutcase_Bike PortfolioMarket: If a helmet looks good, people like to wear it. Hardly any other helmet brand lives by this motto like Nutcase. The bicycle helmet as an art and design object is the absolute focus for the Americans from Portland/Oregon. And the success proves the courageous designers right. The product range has now been expanded to include models and sizes for the whole family. From one-year-old toddlers to teenagers to mature office cyclists, every head is guaranteed to find the right lid - both in terms of size and design.

Nutcase presented twenty new helmet designs at Eurobike 2015, including some really daring ones, like the models from the Unframed Artist series. The basis of this great idea is to give three graffiti artists a platform at the Eurobike to be able to let off steam creatively on huge sheets of paper. These works of art are then used to create new helmet designs for the following year. We show all new light creations below in the respective galleries to click through.

Nutcase_Baby"We love to break the rules and amaze people," said Michael Morrow, CEO and Founder of Nutcase Helmets. This also succeeded with the helmet collection baby nutty for the very youngest, from the age of one year or a head circumference of up to 50 cm. The issue of helmets is not easy to solve, especially for small children who sit as passengers in the child bike seat or in the trailer. At 280 grams, the Baby Nutty is pleasantly light, can be easily adjusted with additional padding and, thanks to the four cheerful designs, is also very popular with the little ones. Like all Nutcase helmets, the chin strap closes magnetically and can be conveniently operated with just one hand.

There are models for preschoolers Little Nutty with five new and then a total of twenty helmet designs. As with its big brother, the Gen3, the fit is fine-tuned using a dial on the back of the head; Optionally, a visor can be attached to the front of the forehead as sun or rain protection.

The big one was about ten new motifs Gen3 Street-Collection added. With more than 40 models, everyone will find a helmet for every mood - whether skull or cherry blossoms, matt black or brightly colored - a lack of choice is no longer an argument for helmet haters.

For all those who used to be too flashy, who want to sit seriously on their e-bike on their way to the doctor's office or law firm, but who still want to show off a little splash of color on their head, Nutcase has them Metroride-Series. The Metros have slightly more generous, hairstyle-friendly ventilation and reflective elements for better safety.
