Cycling: A few weeks ago we already reported on the new top team in the Women's WorldTour: CANYON//SRAM and speculated about the possible team design. Now the cat is out of the bag - the bike and clothing were presented at the first team training camp on Mallorca.
The starting point and 'design anchor' for coloring and design is the Rapha team clothing. The colors used here and the distinctive structure run through the entire equipment: From the frame design to the drinking bottles, CANYON//SRAM will be on the road in a uniform design. According to the associated press release, the aim is not only to stand out from the peloton through performance, but also through appearance.
We think the Canyon Ultimate CF SLX frames are very chic – technically there is hardly anything wrong with the new Canyon flagship anyway. “It responds to every little movement. Just a small impulse is enough and I'm already accelerating in this direction. Due to the aerodynamic character, I can now take a much more aggressive position than with frames I have ridden in the past." enthuses newcomer Alexis Ryan, for example. The riders don't want to hide the fact that the pros also have an eye: "Canyon has managed to combine the two most important aspects of a road bike: the bikes are fast and cool," states the Italian Elena Cecchini.
The new bike will make its debut in racing action at the Australian Road Championships early next year. Tiffany Cromwell is already in the middle of preparing.
