Market: Gore's technical expertise in the field of functional clothing is undisputed, for decades the US manufacturer's membranes have been the measure of all things in this area. On December 15, not only will two new top jackets with Gore Active membranes come onto the market, but it is also the first joint development of the two divisions Gore Bike Wear and Gore Running Wear, which will in future be offering products for both target groups under the Gore ONE label will present.
So far, the two divisions Gore Bike Wear and Gore Running Wear only shared the common 'umbrella' Gore, the associated technologies and membranes and the sporty orientation. The latter in particular could have been the reason why the decision was made to develop a product line that appeals to runners and cyclists alike. Because despite all the differences, these two target groups have a crucial common denominator: Anyone who wants to practice their sport in its actual form - be it with running shoes or on the saddle - needs the right clothing, especially in the current bad weather.
This is exactly the motto of Gore ONE: We want to enable runners and cyclists to go outside in any weather and follow their passion. The new collaboration with two Bike & Run jackets, which are equipped with the new Gore-Tex Active technology - already known from the current top models of the membrane specialist: low weight, high breathability and permanent rain protection, even without impregnation will start soon. If it gets wet, the water simply rolls off and can be shaken off in seconds.
Sales start is December 15th - those who are interested should mark the day in red in their calendars and visit the Gore website - maybe there will be something with the new Gore ONE Bike & Run jacket under the Christmas tree:
