Spectrum / Lifestyle: The alternative racing series RAD RACE is becoming more and more popular and will start next year with a total of seven events spread all over Germany. Berlin and Hamburg will of course be there, but there will also be a RAD RACE in Frankfurt and in two still secret cities next year. Registration for all events starts on December 10th.
The RAD RACE racing series, which originally emerged from the fixie and track scene, will be more present than ever in 2016 with seven events and, with its exciting races, is now addressing a target group that goes far beyond the fixie scene. Like last year, the starting signal will be given as part of the Berlin Bicycle Week and the Berlin Bicycle Show on March 19th - in the capital it will be Last Man Standing again! This is a slightly modified form of elimination driving through the narrow streets of Berlin until only one of the 128 starters is left.
It continues in June, also in the capital, with the Fixed42 Fixie World Championship taking place here for the second time. Further dates will follow in summer in Hamburg and Frankfurt. Two events that have not yet been announced will mark the end of the season - we are curious to see what else the boys have up their sleeves. Registration for all events will start on December 10th - from this date you can register on the official RAD RACE website. Experience shows that the events are quickly booked out - so those who are interested should book the 10.12. Mark it in red on the calendar.
