Market: Since the 2015 season, the Bocholt-based bike company Rose has been using the modern 27,5-inch wheel size for mountain bikes. However, the Gravity community had to wait until this year, but now it's finally here: The Rose Soul Fire 2016 in 27,5 inches!
With the new Rose Soul Fire 2016, Rose is consistently implementing the modern wheel size. Compared to the 27,5″ wheels, the 26 inch wheels offer better rollover behavior and a larger contact surface, which in turn means higher grip. Also in the area of freeride advantages that cannot be dismissed out of hand. The new Soul Fire also uses the Boost standard with a 12 mm thru-axle and an axle dimension of 148 mm. Due to the design, the wider version enables a flatter spoke angle on the wheels - the wheels are therefore more stable and stiffer.
Like the previous model, the frame is made of 7005 aluminum. The chassis with 180-190 mm spring travel can be individually adjusted, depending on the equipment variant, Rock Shox or Fox components are used. In addition to technology that has been refined down to the finest detail, the freeride bike should also score points in terms of weight and versatility. The Rose Soul Fire 2016 is available in three versions, the price ranges from 2299 euros for the Soul Fire 1 to 4099 euros for the Soul Fire 3. Of course, all bikes can still be customized in the shop.
