MTB Cycling / Everyman: What an announcement for a first! At the first edition of the "neuseen MTB Trophy" on April 10th, among the 300 participants there will also be top-class riders in the starting field. According to the organizers, Tour-de-France participants Robert Förster, cross-country champion Max Walsleben and German cross-country runner-up Jessica Lambracht have announced their coming.
Leipzig's new mountain bike event at Schaditzer See is intended to appeal to beginners, young athletes and advanced bikers alike. There are three route lengths to choose from: 15, 30 and 45 kilometers. The 15 kilometer round that has to be completed in each case leads directly along the Schladitzer See, whereby short, steep climbs have also been integrated into the route. The CAMP DAVID Sport Resort by ALL on SEA marks the start and finish. Late registrations are still possible up to Saturday via the event's online portal; at the weekend there is also the opportunity to register on site.
At the Schladitz Bay, visitors can look forward to a family-friendly, colorful supporting program to discover new experiences and sports as part of the season opening "Spring Awakening 2016". Trial courses in the areas of surfing, kiting, horseback riding and diving are offered.
