14 May 2016 by Andrew Waldera

Lifestyle: BMX legends Ryan Nyquist and Diego Caverzasi will also compete in the FMB Diamond Event Crankworx Les Gets on June 18 thanks to wildcards. The young Italian Diego Caverzasi surprised the spectators and jury at the Swatch Rocket Air in Thun with a fantastic run. The judges awarded a terrific 94.00 points, giving Caverzasi third place. According to his own statements, the Italian has been practicing this sport for 14 years - hard work that is now paying off with the right to start at the FMB Diamond Event Crankworx Les Gets.

Ryan Nyquist: With 37 years of age at the FMB events, it's hard to stop

The hard work has also paid off for 37-year-old BMX hero Ryan Nyquist. The American only competed in his first FMB World Tour last year, this season he is already riding on a completely different, very impressive level. After his sixth place at the Swatch Rocket Air, he came second at the FISE Montpellier. Only the Belgian Thomas Genon was able to score higher in southern France. So it remains exciting!
