Market: To mark the 30th anniversary of Greg Lemond's victory in the Tour de France on the Look KG86 in 1986, the traditional French manufacturer is launching a limited special edition of its 795 Aerolight. Only 200 copies of the exclusive racer will be produced - but the buyers have to dig deep into their pockets.
It's been 30 years since Greg Lemond triumphed at the Grand Boucle and gave his outfitter Look their first win at the world's greatest race. This event shaped the brand and still influences it today. The LOOK 795 Aerolight is the successor in the spirit of the KG86, on which Lemond had his great triumph in Paris. The special edition, limited to 200 pieces, comes in an exclusive design that alludes to the La Vie Claire jersey of the time.
10.990€ are due for the LOOK 795 Aerolight: It comes with a fork, Epost 2 seat post, Aerostem, ADH handlebars, the ZED3 crank, an elegant Corima S wheelset and matching LOOK Keo Blade 2 pedals. The latter are also available independently of the complete wheel – for €199,90 (steel axle) or €319,90 (titanium axle). However, if all this is too expensive for you, you can still hope for the beautiful bike: The associated competition runs from June 20th to July 10th. Participants are asked to post a picture of their LOOK bike on Instagram or Facebook and tag it #MYFIRSTLOOK. LOOK is giving away numerous prizes among the entries, including a 795 Aerolight Limited Edition.
