Market: The products of the US manufacturer DeFeet, which is equally popular with professionals, amateurs and hobby riders, are now being sold in Germany and Austria via Trailtoys. The manufacturer, founded in 1992, offers not only unusual socks, but also gloves, hats, overshoes, as well as arm, knee and leg warmers.
DeFeet was a kind of pioneer for the development of modern sports socks: In the early XNUMXs, company founder Shane Cooper broke away from the conventional knitting method, which all products had shared up to then, and instead used a mesh knit that is still used in many sports socks today. In recent years they have worked closely with various professional drivers: Mark Cavendish and Tom Boonen are just two examples. When it comes to design, you can come up with something special year after year, and with the sometimes simple, sometimes colorful designs, there is something to suit every taste.
In addition to the "core business" of socks, the range has also included gloves, hats, overshoes and arm and leg warmers since the company was founded. Like all products from the North Carolina-based manufacturer, these are made in part from recycled materials.
