General: [Video] L'Etape du Tour 2017: route preview with Mavic

11 November 2016 by the editorial office

Cycling / Everyman: For the 24th time in 2017, L'Etape du Tour, one of the largest, most popular and most difficult everyman race, will take place in Europe. The participants walk in the footsteps of the Tour de France. This year the event will take place on July 16th with up to 15.000 participants between Briançon and the notorious Col d'Izoard. The two Mavic ambassadors, Nicolas Roux and Mike Cotty, have already watched the difficult route and recorded their impressions on video.

This will be a really hard piece of work for the 15.000 participants in the L'Etape du Tour 2017. The almost 180km lead first over the Col de Vars, before the difficult climb up to the Col d'Izoard awaits the finale: almost 10km want to go with them with an average incline of 9%. But even apart from the two passes, the route starting in Briançon offers many highlights. The two Mavic ambassadors Nicolas Roux and Mike Cotty have already watched the L'Etape du Tour 2017.
