Spectrum: The German bicycle manufacturer Bombtrack has already been able to develop a loyal fan base in the relatively short time it has existed. This is not least due to the wide range of different wheels that the small forge from western Germany has on offer. But where do the two heads behind the name Bombtrack, Manuel and Richard, get their inspiration from?
'Why do you actually make so many different bikes?' Manuel and Richard often hear this question. This is not really surprising, because if you look at the current portfolio of the Cologne-based manufacturer, you will find an enormous range of different bikes for even more different people, from track bikes/fixies to noble crossers made of steel or carbon, racing bikes and rice bikes with plus tires areas of application.

The Bombtrack duo gets the inspiration for their products not least from the now flourishing fan base, from the community and from friendly designers and developers. Experimentation is also popular, personal preferences also play a part in the considerations, but when it comes to Bombtrack, personal ego has to take a back seat.
In order to continue this community idea and at the same time to thank long-term companions and supporters, in October 2016 we were invited to the Chateau de Gressoux in the French outback. Team riders, fans, dealers and "family members" spent a few days and nights there, philosophizing about their passion for cycling, enjoying the time together and exploring the numerous (gravel) roads in the region on the different bikes made by the Cologne forge. We are sure that Manuel and Richard were able to draw new ideas for the next products from these days. In any case, we are excited to see where Bombtrack is headed.
This resulted in a small video documentation and numerous atmospheric pictures that we do not want to withhold from you.
