Campagnolo: cult, cult, Campagnolo BIG corkscrew! Velomotion is giving away the legendary Campagnolo BIG corkscrew in a new, even more elegant packaging design. For racing cyclists there is no more stylish way to open a good bottle of Italian red wine on the holidays!
Tullio Campagnolo himself created this impressive piece of Italian cultural history in the early XNUMXs. The namesake, founder and head of Campagnolo was repeatedly faced with the problem that most corkscrews did not work satisfactorily and simply did not correspond to a fine bottle of red wine: so he set about solving this problem himself. This is how the Campagnolo corkscrew was born, the design and functionality of which has not changed since then.
The quality of the materials and the perfect finish accompany the sinuous shapes of the various pieces. Each component represents a characteristic of the Campagnolo brand.
Like the bolts, for example, which still come from a 1970's Super Record crankset, an element that adorned the bikes of the fantastic cycling legends of the past, Merckx, Indurain and Gimondi.
A self-centring telescopic bell positions the spiral exactly in the middle of the bottle cork: once the spiral is screwed in, the cork is pulled out easily and carefully using the two levers.
This avoids bumps in the bottle and the lifting of the typical deposits of old wines. Furthermore, the corkscrew is designed in such a way that the lower part of the cork is never pierced, which is why no cork pieces fall into the wine.
