Illumination lamp XLC Comp Titania
The battery-powered light from the accessory provider shows a light pattern that is not unusual in this price range: A fairly bright close-up area is followed by a dark zone, until the actual light cone begins at 5 m, which is very decently illuminated for the specified 20 lux. As is so often the case, the problem does not lie in the depth, but in the breadth: what lies outside of a zone almost 3 m wide remains largely in the dark. The burn time is in the green range at a good five hours without any noticeable loss of brightness. The rear light, on the other hand, offers real 360° visibility thanks to the light guide running around the housing.
Feel and operation XLC Comp Titania
The rubberized button is smooth-running and can also be felt with gloves. If you switch back and forth between the two modes, you have to switch off the lamp in between. The clamp of the holder must be strongly bent during assembly; fastened with a toggle screw, it holds securely on the handlebars. The lamp is pushed onto a smooth-running, rotatably mounted clamping slide. The rear light, which protrudes far, is a bit difficult to attach, especially since its plastic strap is hardly elastic. The angle of the clamping slide is adjustable.
