LOOK Pedal Keo: Look Pedal – it couldn't be more steeped in history – in 1984 the Look company, a French manufacturer of ski bindings, revolutionized cycling in passing: the Look Pedal was born. Only a year later, in 1985, Bernard Hinault won the Tour de France with these innovative pedals, which many sympathetically smiled at - still today a marketing coup that nobody could have imagined better.
Even today - 32 years later, the Look Pedal is synonymous with clipless pedals. Incidentally, just another year later, in 1986, a certain Greg Lemond won the overall Tour de France not only with Look pedals but also on a Look carbon frame - a sensation from which the French unfortunately could not develop an equally sustainable business like from their pedals. Today, Look racing bikes tend to be among the exclusive exotics. With an independent look, but with modest success.
For Christmas this year, Look is presenting an exclusive package with a pair of Look Keo Max 2, a pair of socks and a buff. The socks, in particular, feature the iconic colors of old Hinault team La Vie Claire - we wistfully remember the beautiful Mondrian-style jerseys.
Velomotion is giving away one of these limited gift packages consisting of pedals, socks and buff.
