Product news: Introducing the Lezyne Macro GPS bike computer

8 December 2016 by the editorial office

Lezyne: With the Lezyne Macro GPS, there is a smart bike computer hidden behind today's little door in the advent calendar, which, thanks to great connectivity and excellent integration of other services such as Strava, not only makes training more efficient, but also more fun.

The Lezyne Macro GPS belongs to the new generation of smart bike computers from the US manufacturer. In concrete terms, this means that the inconspicuous black training companion not only connects to the sensors on the bike, rider and power meter via Bluetooth or ANT+, but also to the smartphone. This opens up new possibilities and the Macro GPS can not only automatically upload the rides to Strava, but also informs the driver unobtrusively about incoming messages or calls during the ride. Also on board is a navigation function.

We recently tested the "big brother", the Lezyne Super GPS, extensively and were very impressed. This only has a larger battery and a little more storage space than the smaller model. But with a running time of up to 22 hours, the Macro GPS should also have more than enough endurance for extensive training sessions. Charging is quick and easy via micro-USB.
