General: [Video] Chris Akrigg: As It Lies – driving technique to die for

28 December 2016 by the editorial office

News in brief: Higher, further, faster - this or something similar could be the motto of MTB sports in recent years. Courses, videos and events have become faster, more daring and potentially more dangerous. The Brit Chris Akrigg is something of a counter-proposal - his driving technique is now legendary in scene circles, his driving style is similar to that of a certain Scotsman. But where MacAskill shines with ever more breathtaking drops, jumps and dares, Akrigg stays down to earth, with us mortals sort of. But anyone who has ever sat on a bicycle recognizes the extraordinary driving skills and enjoys the irrepressible joy of playing that Akrigg exudes on the bike. This is also the case in his new video "As It Lies".
