Cycling news: As the successor to Christina Jewelry, Team 0711|CYCLING will start in the 2017 season as a continental team
In the 2017 season, a new German team will start as a continental team as the successor to the Christina Jewelry team under the name 0711|CYCLING. The team name is inspired by the telephone area code of the team headquarters in Stuttgart. In addition to Julian Rammler, ex-pro Olaf Pollack and Philipp Strack are responsible.
After most riders changed teams at the end of the year, the 0711|CYCLING squad for the 2017 season consists of just 7 riders so far, with at least 8 riders required for continental registration. More drivers will be presented in the coming weeks:
Only Arnold Fiek and Moritz Fußnegger remain from last year's squad, plus three with Yannick Mayer (Veranclassic), Max Wörner (MLP Bergstraße 2015) and Hendrik Hamm (Stagiaire Kuota-Lotto 2016). Driver with Continental experience. Jonas Engel and the Spaniard Eric Alfaro also belong to the team.
The racing calendar focuses on UCI competitions and the Rad-Bundesliga. According to their own statements, 0711 Cycling will start the season at the four-day Mallorca Challenge at the end of January, followed by the GP Costa degli Etruschi (1.1) in Italy.
