General: 3 Länder Enduro Race 2017: Registration opens next Saturday

5 January 2017 by Andrew Waldera

MTB cycling / everyone: From August 25th to 27th, 2017, the 3-country enduro race powered by ALUTECH will enter the next round. What is new for 2017 is that the race in the border triangle has been classified as an "EWS Qualifier Event" and the riders can collect valuable points for the EWS. Registration will open at 10.00:XNUMX a.m. on Saturday.

After last year's Nauders hosted the three-day event, in August 2017 Reschen in South Tyrol will welcome the enduro riders. The trails near Schöneben and the Haideralm, on the Mutzkopf and Bernkastel come under the deep-treaded wheels. The duo racing category introduced in 2016 will be retained. For many enduro riders, the new category for teams of two offers the rare and exciting opportunity to be able to race the trails in pairs. The new trail sections, the construction of which started in autumn, also promise excitement. The 3länder Enduro Race 2017 starts on Friday (25th August) with an optional training session, followed in the evening by the optional prologue, where the starting order is explained. Enduro riders can look forward to a total of eight or nine stages on Saturday and Sunday.

If you don't want to miss the 3länder Enduro Race 2017, you should mark the date for the start of registration in red in your calendar. Since the starting field is limited to just 320 participants, experience has shown that the starting places will be sold out very quickly. The entry fee is 133 euros per participant, registration as a DUO team costs 266 euros. The entry fee includes a lift ticket for the three days of the event, a personal start number, a welcome package and catering on the Saturday of the race.
