Product news: 100% Status: New fiberglass full-face helmet for price-conscious riders

February 14, 2017 by Andrew Waldera

Market: The Californian brand 100% presents the spring collection 2017 and with it the new full-face helmet Status. The helmet has an outer shell made of fiberglass and is therefore being used as an inexpensive alternative to the Aircraft carbon helmet. The Status's design and features are based on the more expensive model.

The 100% Status full-face helmet is aimed at all downhill and gravity bikers who are looking for a lightweight helmet with high functionality. The focus is also on riders who have toyed with the idea of a 100% aircraft helmet, but then hesitated because of the purchase price. Based on the look and functionality of its "big brother", price-conscious bikers have a very interesting and promising helmet at their disposal. The features of the Status include the removable, washable inner padding and the active cooling system for optimal air circulation. The 100% status will be available in five different designs from March 2017. The price should be 199,00 euros.
