Product news: Specialized Roadshow Roubaix & Ruby – test events from April 5th to 12th

March 22, 2017 by Florian Nowak

In line with the spring classic Paris-Roubaix, Specialized will start their so-called roadshow in Germany on April 5th with a series of Roubaix and Ruby test bikes. Here you get the opportunity to test the new endurance models as part of a joint trip.

The test bikes at a glance – Specialized Roubaix and Ruby

As one of the first wheel manufacturers, Specialized brought a special wheel for the classics onto the market with the Roubaix. Not entirely uninvolved, some drivers could be helped to victory on the rough pavement. The so-called endurance bikes are becoming more and more popular these days, and not without reason. Especially on bad roads or bumpy ground, such as cobblestones, these models offer the appropriate extra comfort and promise not to pass the impacts from the ground on to the driver. The result is less fatigue, longer endurance and higher speeds, all in line with the motto “smoother is faster”. The highlight of the Specialized Roubaix 2017 is certainly a completely new suspension between the head tube and the handlebars, which bears the name Future Shock. Especially for the ladies there is the possibility to test with the Ruby, the counterpart to the Roubaix.
