Product news: ELECTRA Go! Collection: Cool city bikes with that extra portion of tailwind

25 April 2017 by Andrew Waldera

Market: With cool bikes, the Californian bike manufacturer ELECTRA inspires trend-conscious cyclists, for whom design, comfort and quality must be inextricably linked. A recipe for success that the brand also applies to pedelecs - and that goes down well with buyers: Last year, the Townie Go! 8i is the best-selling e-bike in the USA. For 2017, ELECTRA is expanding the e-bike family with the two urban models Loft Go! and Townie Commute Go!

ELECTRA Loft Go! The e-city bike for hipsters and bike junkies

The ELECTRA Loft Go! impresses with its minimalist design and elegance. Equipped with the Bosch Active System and Flat Foot Technology, the bike is designed for all cyclists who want to cruise quickly and smoothly through the city. Four levels of support guarantee ideal propulsion in all riding situations, whether uphill or in a headwind. According to the manufacturer, the range of the battery is between 30 and 160 kilometers for tours. The hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro ensure that the bike is properly decelerated. Colour-coordinated mudguards successfully round off the overall package. The ELECTRA Loft Go! from 2.599,00 euros.

ELECTRA Townie Commute Go! Stylish e-bike with beach cruiser DNA

E-biking can be so stylish! The ELECTRA Townie Commute Go! has a visually appealing frame with a retro look, a powerful Bosch Performance motor and an 8-speed Shimano gear system. Like the ELECTRA Loft Go! Four support levels are also available here, and the range of the battery is also specified at 30 to 160 kilometers. Other features of the Townie Commute Go! are Tektro disc brakes and LED lighting. The special frame design allows the saddle to be deepened and the pedals to be shifted forward, which ensures that the cyclist can sit upright. Thanks to the built-in stable luggage rack, there is nothing standing in the way of extensive shopping tours either: The front luggage rack can be loaded up to 9 kilograms, the rear even up to 25 kilograms. The ELECTRA Townie Commute Go! in five colors at a price starting at 2.699,00 euros.
