Test: The Sinus Tria is one of the few e-bikes with a coaster brake. The retarder, which is still popular, requires significant idle travel in the mid-engine gearbox, which you quickly get used to. With the Bosch Active drive, the bike accelerates less lively, but quite satisfactorily. The 8-speed hub requires significant pedal breaks to shift properly. The hydraulic rim brakes, which can always be relied on, are typical of the class. The integrated rear light catches the eye on the luggage rack, which elegantly "floats" on the mudguard. Sitting on the Sinus is very comfortable; Shock absorption is provided by a suspension fork and a rather tightly sprung support. The shape of the handlebars and grips go well with the upright posture. With its short rear end, the bike steers comparatively agile.
