Actually, the 2nd stage of the Tour de Romandie was supposed to lead over 160,7 kilometers from Champéry to Bulle. However, due to the heavy sleet, the descent at the beginning of the section was removed from the program. The riders started the race in Aigle, where two days ago the Prolog was discharged. So the stage was only 135 kilometers long. However, the day was not really pleasant for the drivers, because it rained and snowed heavily over the entire race distance. Nevertheless, four pilots have big plans: Adriy Grivko (Astana), Frederik Veuchelen (Wanty), Sander Armée (Lotto Soudal) and Stefan Küng (BMC) were able to break away from the peloton early on. Along the way, Sander Armée secured all the mountain prizes. Since he was already on the yesterday 1st stage If he was able to collect points, he will start tomorrow in a mountain jersey. Last year he was crowned King of the Tour de Romandie.
Stefan Küng wins in Bulle after a long sprint
