The new edition of the Germany Tour will end in August 2018 in the Baden-Württemberg state capital of Stuttgart. The organizers of the ASO announced this on Tuesday.
The finale of the four-day tour is to take place on several demanding finish laps in Stuttgart. The starting point of the new Germany Tour is not yet known. In August 2017, one year before the start, further stages and details of the program will be presented. After a ten-year break, the state tour returns, the last winner was Linus Gerdemann in 2008.
“The grand finale of the Deutschland Tour will be a bike festival in Stuttgart – a city that has set itself ambitious bike-related goals. The overall concept «Germany. your trip." relies on people's enthusiasm for cycling, from professional sport to everyday mobility.
