MTB News: It's that time again! After a long time, the legendary Red Bull District Ride took place again in Nuremberg. A beautiful old town is being converted into a slopestyle course and thus a playground for the best of the best.
After major concerns about the weather, the time table was tweaked and the second qualifying round was moved to Saturday morning. And Peter remains merciful: the weather holds.
94.000 visitors follow the spectacle live. There will be the first 1440 and the first double frontflip. And a Superman double backflip, or backflip Superman late backflip. In general, you had your problems counting or guessing the trick and the rotations. Was that just two barspins? Or three? Four were also made. 360 back flip? Or maybe Cork 720? No Twisters! Difficult, but didn't detract from it, quite the opposite. The spectators were really offered something and without paying admission. Hats off to Red Bull, you guys know how to throw a party!
