Other cycling: [Video] Before Ironman Hawaii: Jan Frodeno with a wink to defend his title?

10 October 2017 by the editorial office

Triathlon: With the Ironman Hawaii, the highlight of the triathlon season is coming up in a few days. Of course, the focus is again on Jan Frodeno, who could win his third title in a row in Kona. In the run-up, he looks back on the exhausting preparation in a video with a wink.

It's that time again on Saturday. The big highlight of the triathlon season is the Ironman Hawaii. However, before the starters can start in Kona, meticulous, exhausting and perfectly timed preparation is required. This also applies to the defending champion and again big favorite Jan Frodeno, who could win in Kona for the third time in a row. This year he was already able to celebrate a victory at Ironman Austria and is the reigning German champion in the middle distance.

But a triumph in Hawaii would outshine all previous successes of the season. With a wink, Frodeno, together with his sponsor and supplier Oakley, produced a video about the importance of preparation - worth seeing!
