Especially at the current time of year, every regular cyclist probably knows the problem: you've barely covered five meters on your bike when the dirt is already sticking to the frame, tires and wheels. Mountain bikers and cross fans in particular can sing a (little fun) little song about it. Those who always cycle home straight from the exit and have their own water connection at the house can consider themselves lucky. Many others either have to travel to the start or finish point on four wheels or do not have the luxury of a water tap in the garden at home. This is the norm, especially for rented apartments in the cities.
So how do you get your bike clean again? Sure, a bucket and sponge is a possibility. But if it has to be done quickly because the warm shower is waiting, it's quite a cumbersome affair. A short detour to the nearest car wash box? Also an option, but on the one hand there is often a queue and on the other hand the high pressure of these systems is not necessarily conducive to the longevity of the bearings on the wheel.
