Product news: With the Specialized Torch 2.0, the aim was to bring a road bike shoe onto the market that could compete in the highest class in terms of performance and still be easy on the wallet. At just 235 grams per shoe (in size 42), the Specialized Torch 2.0 weighs just 10 grams more than the S-Works top model.
The Specialized Torch convinces through and through with an impressive price-performance ratio. The road bike shoe, designed for performance, has the proven technologies and features of Specialized, such as body geometry ergonomics. This is also used in the high-end shoes from Specialized, among others. The outsole and footbed are ergonomically designed and medically tested to promote a clean vertical pedaling movement, which improves power transmission and prevents injuries.
Furthermore, the Specialized Torch 2.0 convinces with a sporty fit, a stiff carbon sole and a quickly adjustable Boa twist lock. The stiff and light carbon sole has a stiffness index of 7.0 and thus ensures the best efficiency. The Boa IP1 Snap twist locks can be finely and quickly adjusted and ensure even and large-scale pressure distribution and a secure hold. There is also a Velcro strap for additional adjustment. The upper of the Specialized Torch 2.o has mesh fabric and TPU inserts, which has a pleasant effect on the fit. The sole of the shoe is designed for all three-screw attachments for the shoe plates and is therefore compatible with the common pedal systems. The total weight per shoe in size 42 is 235 grams, which is only 10 grams more than the top model. The Specialized Torch is available in a variety of colors for 159,90 euros (RRP).
