Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2018
Probably no other tire embodies the term all-rounder better than Schwalbe's evergreen Nobby Nic. It has been an integral part of the tire specialists' program since 2005, even though it has undergone a number of changes since then. Two seasons ago it got a complete overhaul including a new profile and new sizes. The Nobby Nic is now available for 29″, 27,5″ and also for 26″, in widths from narrow 2,25″ to bulky 3″ plus tires. Its range of use is correspondingly wide - from powerful XC tires to gently rolling trails or AM tires, it fits into many drawers.
Finally, this spring, Schwalbe also presented completely new rubber mixtures with the Addix Compounds, which of course also affect the Nobby Nic. The areas in which the tires are used can now be quickly identified by a colored stripe. Technically, work was mainly done on the balance between rolling resistance and grip and wear.

Product news: Schwalbe Addix: New rubber compounds for all EVO MTB tires
Market: Schwalbe Addix – the mountain bikers among us will probably come across this name more often in the coming months and years. However, this is not a new tire, but a series of new rubber compounds that will be used in the EVO versions of the Schwalbe tires. You solve […]
Schwalbe Tubeless Easy Kit
When it comes to mountain bikes, tubeless is almost old hat again. There have been corresponding tires for many years, modern wheels are now suitable for tubeless use even in the lower price ranges. The fact that many mountain bikers still prefer tubes today is partly due to the somewhat complicated assembly of tubeless tires, especially in the beginning. The right mounting material and accessories are particularly helpful here. The complete package is available as a Tubeless Easy Kit from Schwalbe. In addition to tubeless rim tape, valves, sealing milk, it also contains an assembly fluid for easier mounting of the tires and a set of tire levers.
Schwalbe Tire Boosters
When the tire finally sits on the rim and the milk is filled in, "only" has to be pumped up. Depending on the rim-tire combination, this can prove to be not so trivial: sometimes a few courageous strokes with a high-quality floor pump are enough, but with unfavorable combinations the air escapes faster than you can pump again. A powerful blast of air is needed here, which a conventional pump cannot deliver.
In a very well-equipped workshop you can use a compressor, but not every bike mechanic has one to hand. This is where Schwalbe's Tire Booster comes in: The pressure tank can be easily filled with a floor pump and then acts as a "compressor-to-go" by forcing the previously filled air into the tire at high pressure.
