Cycling: Alexandre Geniez (AG2R La Mondiale) won the Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise. The Frenchman was perfectly prepared for the victory by his compatriot and teammate Romain Bardet in the last kilometer in a nine-man lead group. Second was the Norwegian Christian Eiking (Wanty-Groupe Gobert) ahead of Lilian Calmejane (Direct Energie). 5 to watch Protege Guillaume Martin (Wanty Groupe Gobert) finished fifth.
