cycling: RockShox Lyrik RC2 2019 – More adjustment options and better performance

March 20, 2018 by Michael Faiss

Product news / MTB: RockShox has given the top enduro fork Lyrik a comprehensive update for the 2019 model year. The new Charger 2 RC2 damping allows separate and independent control of high-speed and low-speed compression and the performance of the DebonAir air spring has also been improved.

It's only been a year since Rock Shox introduced the new Charger 2018 damping cartridge with the 2 suspension forks. Now the Americans are following suit and giving the Lyrik another damping upgrade for 2019: With the new Charger 2 RC2 cartridge, they are responding to the wishes of ambitious drivers who have long wanted separate external adjustment options for high-speed and low-speed compression. From now on, both can be controlled independently of each other, which means that the fork can be adjusted even more precisely to individual preferences and different routes.

In addition to the new damping, the air spring has also been fine-tuned. The new DebonAir air spring should be able to react much more finely to small bumps with significantly less friction. There's also news to report on the outside: the Lyrik RC2 will also be available in bright Boxxer red.
