Cycling / Everyone: The Lübbering team starts its second season in 2018 and last weekend showed the new faces in the team, the new sponsors and the racing program as part of the team presentation.
New team color, new faces, new sponsors: At the team presentation of Team Lübbering last Saturday near Gütersloh, there was a lot of news to announce. The bright green from the previous year gives way to an even brighter neon orange - true to the new motto Don't hide. Be neon.
There are also some changes in personnel. Marco Bastiaansen, Alex Heinichen and Leon Wilson-Brown are new for the men. The women's team has strengthened especially in the long distance, which was extremely successful last year. Newcomer Felicitas Wendler was a guest at the 24-hour race in Kehlheim for the team from Gütersloh last year and helped the women's team to a very good third place.

Last season, I had a guest appearance with Team Lübbering, and we finished third as a women's team. Hopefully, we'll repeat that this year, or even top it.[/testimonial]Among the sponsors, the new bike sponsor in particular caused a stir: With BMC, they were able to secure the support of a real heavyweight. The drivers from Team Lübbering will contest the 2018 season on the Timemachine Road 02 One. With Leeze, the impeller manufacturer from Münsterland is also on board again. In addition, Camelbak, Fizik and Jakroo, among others, contribute clothing and accessories.
The season for the team starts on April 14th with the bike tour in Mastholte before the German Cycling Cup starts on April 22nd at the Tour d'Energie in Göttingen. We will be the team again this year own blog to accompany.
