The lovely charm of Baden-Württemberg with gently rolling vineyards, stately castles and enchanting villages can be explored particularly impressively on the Neckar Valley Cycle Path. The start of the approximately 410-kilometer tour marks Villingen-Schwenningen, from where the natural source of the Neckar is reached after a few kilometers in the Schwenninger Moos. Downstream, the Neckar Valley Cycle Path now accompanies the river, mostly without gradients, to where it flows into the Rhine near Mannheim.

Cycling on the traces of the historic Roman road, the almost 350-kilometer tour does not skimp on sights. The tourist highlights of the tour on the Adige Valley Cycle Path include the spooky church tower in Lake Reschen, the Castel Juval near Naturns and the picturesque old towns of Meran and Bozen. North Sea Coast Cycle Path: leisurely along the windy North Sea coast
With a length of almost 6000 kilometers, the international North Sea Coast Cycle Route runs along the North Sea through six countries. The part of the world's longest cycle path that runs in Germany leads from the East Frisian Bund on the Dutch border via Bremerhaven to the municipality of Rosenkranz in the extreme north-west of the republic. On the edge of the Wadden Sea, which is shaped by the ebb and flow of the tide, the approximately 900-kilometer tour offers nature experiences and tranquil coastal towns alike.

Vennbahn cycle path: on old railway tracks through three countries
The 125 km long, cross-border Vennbahn cycle path connects the three countries of Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. The historic journey on the former Vennbahn train route still bears witness to a turbulent past. Disused wagons and old signal systems are reminiscent of the former iron transport connection between Aachen and Troisvierges in Luxembourg. The well-developed railway line path, which is characterized by a diverse nature, has only a slight incline, only off the line there are sometimes steep climbs.
