General

General: E-Motions: New e-bike event at Lake Millstatt

1 May 2018 by Andrew Waldera

E-Performance / Spectrum: At Lake Millstatt in beautiful Carinthia, everything revolves around the topic of e-bikes from May 11th to 13th. At the premiere of the new bike event "E-Motions", visitors can look forward to a large expo area, a varied show program and a wide range of tours. With Bobby Root and Tom Öhler, two top stars of the MTB scene will ensure plenty of action.

Under the motto "Experience Pleasure", the first round of the "E-Motions" e-bike event starts on May 11th at Lake Millstatt. For three days, the popular holiday region in the southernmost province of Austria will be all about electrified cycling. The organizers have put together an extremely diverse and attractive program for the premiere. In the large Expo area, visitors can find out about new trends and products in the e-bike sector. In addition to expert advice, there is of course also the opportunity to test the latest e-bikes on site. The range of tests extends from electrified urban bikes to e-mountain bikes and racing bikes with e-support.

It is up to visitors to become active themselves on the tours offered. Here, too, the range is extremely diverse. E-mountain bikers can let off steam on natural trails, while those who prefer less rough terrain will get their money's worth on leisurely tours around Lake Millstatt. Local bike guides lead the participants to enchanting box seats with numerous opportunities to stop. Culinary delicacies from all over the world await visitors to the E-Motions event on a separate food truck mile. The Street Food Market is open on Friday and Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 20.00 p.m.

Two top stars from the MTB scene have also announced their coming for the premiere. The American Bobby Root as the "Wheelie King" will show visitors during the wheelie session how an e-bike is only ridden on the rear wheel - and of course the whole thing is extremely casual and with a lot of style! Another audience favorite is the Austrian Tom Öhler. With his spectacular tricks, the bike trial world champion will also cause incredulous amazement among the visitors at his shows on Saturday.
