Product news: Urban IKI child seats are now also available in Germany

10 May 2018 by Andrew Waldera

Market: After the successful debut in the Netherlands, Urban IKI by OGK is now also taking off in Germany. The innovative child seats from the Japanese-based company combine the Japanese attitude to life with clever design. The products are sold exclusively through E. Wiener Bike Parts.

Together with Dutch designers, the company OGK created the brand IKI. Iki represents a simple yet sophisticated aesthetic in Japanese culture. The innovative brand also takes up this philosophy with its child seats. With a view to the essentials, special emphasis is placed on clever details and functional design. The child seats are produced and developed in Japan. After last year's successful market launch in the Netherlands, the Urban IKI models are now coming to Germany.

E. Wiener Bike Parts GmbH, which is part of the Winora Group and has its registered office in Sennfeld, has taken over exclusive sales for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The portfolio includes three different Urban IKI child seat models that can be individually designed using various upholstery kits. The different color combinations offer additional scope for design. A front seat and two rear seats are available for attachment to the saddle tube or to the luggage rack. A windshield is also available as an option for the front seat. The Urban IKI products are available now.
