Market: For more than six decades, the traditional brand Kettler has stood for "Made in Germany" and is one of the best-known bicycle brands in the country. And Bastian Schweinsteiger has also secured a place in German history by winning the 2014 World Cup. Since June, Kettler Alu-Rad and the reigning world champion have been walking a common path. As a brand ambassador, Bastian Schweinsteiger will campaign for more exercise among children and young people.
The football player and the traditional brand have one common denominator: the passion for movement, sport and fun. Bastian Schweinsteiger makes no secret of the fact that he has been a fan of the brand since childhood. Since June 2018, however, he has not only been a fan, but also a brand ambassador. With the cooperation, the 2014 soccer world champion from Brazil wants to encourage more exercise among children and young people – and thus also make a decisive contribution to better health. The soccer star sees the bicycle as the ideal piece of sports equipment to make movement fun while at the same time promoting cognitive abilities. Kettler Alu-Rad offers a specially developed children's and youth bike in 24 and 26 inches.

Kettler Alu-Rad has remained true to its "Made in Germany" responsibility to this day. All bicycles of the traditional brand are still designed, assembled and painted in Saarland. This also includes technical acceptance and quality testing.
