General

General: Stromer ST3: Fast S-Pedelec for advanced users

July 24, 2018 by Andrew Waldera

Market: It is common knowledge that S-Pedelecs provide an extra boost. Dynamic, powerful and silent, you can easily reach speeds of up to 45 km/h with the fast pedelecs. The new Stromer ST3 also combines powerful propulsion with a good portion of elegance and comfort.

Easily swim with the traffic on the way to work - and without sweating?! With the new Stromer ST3 S-Pedelec, that should no longer be a problem. A SYNO Drive II rear wheel hub motor, newly developed for the ST3, is used with an output of 820 watts and a torque of 44 Newton meters. The system is powered by a BQ814 battery, which should give the driver a range of up to 150 kilometers. Like all Stromer models, the S-Pedelec relies on full communication. Thanks to the specially developed Stromer OMNI app, the smartphone not only becomes an on-board computer, but also an anti-theft device. With a lock, alarm and location, thieves should lose interest in their passion.

For optimal driving fun, the designers gave the Stromer ST3 agile 27,5" wheels, which are completed with Cycl-e ST tires. The tires were specially developed for Stromer by the tire manufacturer Pirelli. The specially developed LED headlight offers high beam as well as low beam. Both the front and rear light do not protrude and thus nestle inconspicuously into the harmonious overall picture. The speedy S-Pedelec is slowed down by the 4/2-piston disc brake system. From autumn there will also be a special ST3 Launch Edition in Deep Green with a 983 Wh battery and Brooks saddle. The prices are 6.990 euros for the ST3 and 7.650 euros for the Launch Edition.
