Bicycle workshop: Tips&Tricks Video: FOX Chassis Friday

July 6, 2018 by the editorial office

Tips & Tricks Video: In the next few weeks we will be doing a "FOX Suspension Friday" every Friday, in which we would like to present you with all the basics about suspension elements. Today's Fox Suspension Friday is about the big topic:

How do I adjust my air suspension fork correctly?

The topic of chassis setup is one of the most important topics that exist when it comes to mountain bikes. Safety and control on the trail play a major role here. For example, if the fork is set too soft and the rebound is too slow, it can happen that the suspension fork rebounds too slowly and bottoms out when you jump. This increases the risk of falling. There are also always half-truths circulating in the scene about how a chassis should be perfectly adjusted. Together with Chris Trojer we will explain to you how to adjust an air suspension fork perfectly. It is important to always follow the steps that Chris Trojer describes in the video in order. This is the only way to find a perfect basic setup. From adjusting the negative spring travel to adjusting the rebound, everything is explained to you in detail in these two videos.
