Market: The Dutch e-bike manufacturer QWIC will launch a brand new Urban series next year. The line, which comprises a total of four models, is aimed at commuters who are looking for an individual high-quality e-bike for daily use in the city at an attractive price. The e-bikes in the new Urban series will be available from April 2019.
Since the company was founded in 2006, the QWIC brand has stood for Dutch Craftmanship. The creative Dutch have another trump card up their sleeve for next year. The brand new QWIC Urban series includes four e-bikes that are characterized by a strong urban character. When developing the new line, the focus was not only on the design, but also on a balanced relationship between price and quality.
Characteristic of the new Urban Line is the battery integrated in the frame, which can be removed using a simple click system. As a special feature, the new urban e-bikes have a rotation sensor and a force sensor, which can be individually adjusted by the rider if desired. All e-bikes in the Urban series are also equipped with the new QWIC display console, which is paired with the smartphone using a Bluetooth connection: the smartphone thus acts as a display. The QWIC app is available for operating the e-bike and displaying all information.
The suspension fork and the sprung seat post ensure extra comfort in all four models. Every e-bike in the Urban series also comes with a MIK luggage carrier – the buyer can optionally order a carrier solution for the front when ordering. The prices of the four models range between 1.599,00 and 2.199,00 euros, depending on the version. A 300 Wh lithium-ion battery is included in the price. The Urban series e-bikes will be available from April 2019.
