Test: Pedros has been offering all conceivable products for years to enable professional care and maintenance of your bikes. We have put together an assortment with which we can carry out all necessary cleaning and care work on the bike and have tested the products for you. All cleaning products from Pedros are solvent-free and biodegradable.
Pedro's Bike Cleaner:
Pedro's Green Fizz Bike Cleaner:
The foam cleaner reduces surface tension and is therefore suitable for cleaning all surfaces and frame materials, including carbon. The cleaner is solvent-free, which ensures that materials such as rubber and leather are not dried out. In addition, it prevents the protective lubricating grease from not being removed. The cleaner is only conditionally suitable for degreasing thick layers of oil and lubricating grease. The cleaner is very foamy, can be used in a targeted manner and stays in place without running off.
Pedro's Bye Grease Degreaser:
Where the Green Fizz bike cleaner reaches its limits, the Bye Grease degreaser comes into its own. Like the Green Fizz, this degreaser also reduces surface tension. However, Bye Grease should only be used on metal parts such as the drive train components. You should be a little more careful when using the cleaner, as contact with the skin or eyes can cause severe irritation.
Pedros Bike Lust Bike Polish:
Silicone-based bike polish adds shine and protection from future dirt and UV rays. To do this, spray the polish onto the bike and distribute it with a cloth. The polish must not get on the brake components. When using the Bike Lust bicycle polish, you should also pay attention to your eyes. This can also cause severe irritation.
At the latest after polishing up the bike that has been cleaned with Green Fizz and Bye Grease, your best piece will shine again in new splendor. In order to be perfectly prepared for the next assignment, the only thing missing now is the care of the drive train. Here Pedros offers the right lubricants for all weather conditions, which we also don't want to withhold from you. First of all, it should be said that all of the lubricants listed below contain cleaning additives in order to achieve self-cleaning. In addition, the lubricants are low-friction and offer protection against corrosion. Besides the Syn Lube, the products are also biodegradable.
Pedro's chain lube:
Pedro's Syn Lube:
Is a synthetic chain lubricating oil for long-lasting lubricating performance, even over long distances and reduced chain wear, in wet and muddy conditions. Originally developed for MTB use, but also popular with professional road teams. The Syn Lube is also ideally suited for the upcoming winter.
Pedro's Chainj:
The synthetic chain oil made from rapeseed oil is suitable for all weather conditions and is also very durable. This means that it can be used optimally as an all-round chain lubricant. It is therefore also ideal for all bikers who do not want to study the weather forecast before every bike maintenance to find out what conditions are coming next.
Pedro's Go!:
The synthetic, very thin rapeseed-based lubricant is ideal for dry conditions. The low viscosity allows the lubricant to penetrate between the chain links and keeps dirt and water out for a long time. It can also be used to loosen corrosion and make stuck spoke nipples or shift cables work again.
Pedro's Ice Wax 2.0:
The Ice Wax made from natural beeswax is ideal for an extremely dry chain. It is important that you apply the wax at least 4 hours before the ride and let it dry. Since the Ice Wax does not require any solvents, you have to accept a longer drying phase, but this also protects the environment and you.
And finally ...
All products were able to convince us in use. Cleaning the bike with Green Fizz, Bye Grease and Bike Lust is child's play. Depending on the weather and intended use, you can also find the right product with the various chain lubricants. We particularly like the environmental compatibility of the products.
