Helene Fruhwirth made a more or less accidental acquaintance with fate in 2013. The doctors discovered a previously undiscovered brain cavernoma in the Austrian after a serious fall. This is a blood vessel malformation that can cause failure and bleeding. Helene Fruhwirth survived the brain tumor operation and discovered a new motto for herself: "What doesn't knock you out makes you even stronger". She subsequently won the Overall World Cup in 4X twice, celebrated many 4X Pro Tour victories and took the bronze medal at the 4 2017X World Championships. At Haibike, the fast Austrian will be available for events and training camps from 2019, lead courses on site and pass on her skills as a coach to other eBikers. Truly a special woman with a special story.
“Biking is so much more than just commuting to work on the road. It takes you to places that are often only known from nature documentaries. And with the eBike it's a completely different story and opens up so many possibilities for me. For me, for example, it means being able to do a lot more descents in one day, because I'm back up there in no time and always with a grin on my face" - Helene Fruhwirth
