Cycling: Caleb Ewan (Lotto – Soudal) won his first race for his new team with the Down Under Classic in Adelaide. The Australian crossed the finish line ahead of Peter Sagan (Bora – hansgrohe) and Alexander Edmondson (Mitchelton – Scott) on the one-hour circuit. A fall shortly before the end was one of the decisive factors.

Easy curling up at the Down Under Classic

The WorldTour 2019 starts on Tuesday with the Tour Down Under. However, the Down Under Classic was already held today – traditionally two days earlier.
