Kate Courtney has been on Specialized so far and surprised fans and pundits alike last year when she crowned herself world champion with an insane ride. In her first year as a pro, the 23-year-old Californian already celebrated victories at the Cape Epic and the national championship.
[testimonial name=“Kate Courtney“ title=“SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing“ background=“#“ color=“#“ border=“#“ img_border=“#“ name_color=“#“ title_color=“#“]I am incredibly excited to be joining the SCOTT-SRAM team. This team represents a unique opportunity for me to work with Thomas Frischknecht and ride with talented teammates, especially World Champion Nino Schurter. The team has a very unique atmosphere: it is highly professionally managed, but at the same time it is extremely relaxed – that's great, that spirit is needed. Here you can literally feel how the environment celebrates mountain biking with every fiber of your being, and how the enthusiasm and love for the sport is lived at all levels. It is an honor for me to learn from such professionals with a strong passion for the sport and a wealth of experience, who pursue big goals themselves and help to realize Olympic dreams. With their support and a shared vision for the future, I'm eager to get to work and am very optimistic that we can achieve great things together in 2019 and beyond.[/testimonial]
With Lars Forster, another promising young driver could be signed. The former U23 world champion from Switzerland was crowned European champion this year in Glasgow and is also the reigning Swiss champion in cyclocross. For the 25-year-old, the Olympic Games in Tokyo will also play a decisive role next year – he has powerful support in the form of Nino Schurter and Andri Frischknecht.

Riding and learning with and alongside Nino Schurter is certainly a huge advantage. Since the beginning of my career, I've dreamed of becoming a member of Thomas Frischknecht's team, my role model from my early days. I want to win together with him and this fantastic team.[/testimonial]
