Bulls Six50 E1 – The frame
The frame of the Bulls Six50 E1 is very similar to the Bulls Copperhead models in terms of geometry and workmanship. The aluminum frame convinces with the high-quality workmanship and robustness you are used to from Bulls, which should also benefit the longevity of the Six50 E1. With its 27,5″, the Six50 E1 offers a relaxed frame geometry that ensures a slightly upright seating position, which should be particularly noticeable in terms of comfort on longer tours. Nevertheless, the Bulls Six50 E1 offers a fairly sporty platform that should be particularly suitable for beginners and all-rounders.
Bulls Six50 E1 – The equipment
The heart of the Bulls Six50 E1 should of course be the powerful Bosch Performance Line drive. Due to the successful integration and the sporty design, this is not only a real eye-catcher, but also has a lot of power and provides 250 watts of support with a capacity of 400 or 500 Wh, which should correspond to a range of almost 200 kilometers.
Added to this is the Shimano Deore 9-speed circuit, which stands for precise and robust switching performance. The SR Suntour suspension fork with 100mm travel, as well as the hydraulic disc brakes and decent tires with a good tread ensure the necessary safety even on bumpy ground.
A small highlight are the in-house Monkey-Link attachments. The front and rear lights are easy to attach, can be removed with a flick of the wrist and ensure good visibility, especially in the dark season. The Monkey-Link bottle cage offers easy handling thanks to the magnetic mechanism.
Bulls Six50 E1 - Electrifying off-road fun
The Bulls Six50 E1 made us curious from the start. Why? A well-equipped hardtail with Shimano gears and a high-quality aluminum frame and then a Bosch Performance Line motor. Of course you'll be pricked. The price of 2.299 euros is incorruptible, especially for this equipment variant, and is quite impressive.
Of course we wanted to test ride the E-MTB immediately and find out exactly what it was really capable of. The slightly more relaxed frame geometry ensures a very pleasant driving experience, which is additionally supported by the good comfort. Nevertheless, you can really step on the gas with the Bulls Six50 E1 and be fast on the road. Here, the Bosch drive skilfully supports and offers a full 250 watts of support, which should last for almost 200 kilometers. The Shimano Deore makes the usual solid impression and offers robust and precise shifting performance. The well-profiled tires and the hydraulic disc brakes are ideal for being fast and, above all, safe on the descents. The 100mm suspension fork ensures a smooth driving experience and also copes well with hard hits.
