It has become apparent in the past few months: The world's best crosser on a bike is Mathieu van der Poel. The Dutchman hardly seems to be beatable at any track when he starts in top form. And he definitely wasn't in bad shape this Sunday in the Danish coastal town of Bogense. He confidently took command very early on. It almost seemed like he wasn't exhausting himself completely. A duel for silver broke out behind them wout van aert and Toon Aerts. Although the latter made the better impression, in the end he could only take the bronze medal due to a fall. The German also delivered a terrific performance Marcel Meisen away. He finished eighth with a deficit of around one and a half minutes.
