General: eldoRADo Bike & Run Festival: Event now also for trail runners for the first time

March 18, 2019 by Andrew Waldera

MTB News: Exactly in two months to the day, the tranquil Angerberg in Tyrol will mutate into the epicenter of marathon sports. There are three mountain bike distances to choose from between 26 and 65 kilometers with 450 to 1.800 meters in altitude. With the premiere of the eldoRADo Trail Run, the festival is now also addressing runners.

On May 18th and 19th, 2019, Angerberg in Tirol invites mountain bikers and trail runners alike to work out as part of the eldoRADo Bike & Run Festival. In the past, the event was primarily aimed at mountain bikers, but this year trail runners can also step on the gas. With the first edition of the eldoRADo Trail Run, the event is definitely going into a new round this year. Whether by bike or on foot, spectacular routes, a fantastic panorama and challenging challenges await all participants. Mountain bikers have the choice between three distances of 26 to 65 kilometers, on which 450 to 1.800 meters in altitude have to be fought for. The routes are garnished with demanding climbs, wonderful downhills and crisp trails. The youngsters can already show what they're made of at the Kids Cup on Saturday. In the trail run, participants have two routes to choose from. In addition to a short route of 17 kilometers and 900 meters in altitude, there will be a long route of 26 kilometers and 1.600 meters in altitude. As usual, there will be numerous exhibitors, partners and sponsors in the Expo area. There are test offers and attractive special prices as well as culinary delicacies.
