Track cycling: On the fourth day of the Track Cycling World Championships, the BDR won more medals. In the women's single pursuit, Lisa Brennauer and Lisa Klein secured silver and bronze respectively.
Ladies: Brennauer and Klein on the podium
Even today there should be medals for the BDR. This time the ladies were responsible. In the individual pursuit, two German women placed on the podium. Behind Australia's Ashlee Ankudinoff secured Lisa Brennauer and Lisa Klein silver and bronze. Franziska Brausse completed the good German result with seventh place. Miriam Welte was unlucky in the 500 meter time trial. She narrowly missed out on a medal when Russia's Daria Shmeleva finished fourth. At the Madison, Kirsten Wild won another gold medal. The Dutchwoman triumphed together with her partner Amy Pieters.

Men: No German medals in omnium and sprint
The men's medals were only awarded once today. The German-speaking participants had nothing to gain in the Omnium. The Swiss Claudio Imhof ended up in tenth place, the German Moritz Malcharek in 16th place. The New Zealander Campbell Stewart won relatively clearly. The qualifying rounds were held in the men's sprint. Unfortunately, the medals will be awarded tomorrow without German participation. Stefan Bötticher narrowly and surprisingly failed in the round of XNUMX at Nicholas Paul.
