MTB News: In exactly 10 days, the Altmühltal will have one more mountain bike attraction. The HeumödernTrails will be officially opened on April 13th and 14th, 2019 together with the Sportpension and Outdoorbase valley station Heumöderntal in Treuchtlingen. The family-friendly trail park has a newly built pump track, a bike practice area and several trails for absolute beginners through to experts - and all free of charge for users.

The HeumödernTrails in Treuchtlingen offer a family-friendly mountain bike experience from mid-April. The range of trails is aimed at the whole family, regardless of age and ability. Beginners can improve their dexterity and feel for the bike on the skills area with waves, steps and other elements. Another top address for novices is the Julians World Pump Trail, which is currently 1020 meters long. Here the riders can expect gentle waves and berms without much pedaling.

Advanced riders will find what they are looking for on the 1,7 km long Eulenhof Trail. Steep technical sections have to be mastered here as well as fast root passages and intermittent pedaling passages. If you really want to let off steam, you should let off steam on the toboggan run trail, which is classified as difficult. The following applies to all trails in the trail park: the on-site signage leads mountain bikers to their chosen trail and, of course, back to the starting point.

The HeumödernTrails will be officially opened on April 13th and 14th. As part of the Grand Opening, visitors can look forward to a colorful supporting program with a bike flea market, a free WayToWin bike fitting workshop and many free test options. As a further treat, the guides from HappyTrails.de offer instructive driving technique courses from 3 to 99 years of age. The valley station Heumöderntal provides a relaxed ambience and culinary highlights from the regional cuisine - not only at the opening.
